WHILE YOU'RE AWAY, LA is owned and operated by Jim Cruise.  Jim was the founder of a popular and successful dog walking and sitting service in the San Francisco Bay Area.  In 2009, he relocated to Los Angeles where he continues to provide private dog walking, top-of-the-line pet care, and various concierge services as the owner and sole operator of WHILE YOU'RE AWAY, LA.  Jim has had pets for all of his life--cats, dogs, hermit crabs, an innumerable amount of freshwater fish, and even a chinchilla. "My pets have always been my family and I enjoy making animals happy. They rely on us for simple things--food, shelter, nurturing...and in return, they provide us with unlimited, unconditional love and laughter. It's the most rewarding relationship."
